Mölnlycke have been awarded a silver medal for sustainability
The world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings - EcoVadis, has awarded Mölnlycke a silver medal for our focus on sustainability. They have ranked us in the top 11% of companies worldwide.
The benchmarking procedure
We initiated work with EcoVadis to improve our understanding of our strengths and improvement opportunities using an independent and credible organisation. The rating process required extensive amounts of data and documentation, and therefore teamwork between our global sustainability, legal and compliance, procurement excellence, and people experience teams.
Our submission was assessed over a twelve week period. The results and feedback were then used to prioritise improvement plans with the full support of our Executive leadership team.
The result
EcoVadis awarded Mölnlycke a silver medal – awarded to those in the top 25% of companies. In fact, we were ranked in the 89th percentile – in the top 11% of companies. Our approach to environmental and human rights issues scored particularly highly.
Our results certificate is available to download for verification at the end of the article, EcoVadis will also provide a detailed validated scorecard to users of their platform.
