Mepilex^® Ag is an antimicrobial soft silicone foam dressing that is designed for the management of low to moderately exuding wounds such as leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and partial thickness burns.

This silver foam dressing delivers antimicrobial activity within 30 min and up to 7 days and inactivates a wide range of wound-relevant microorganisms (in vitro)            . An international consensus has concluded that an antimicrobial action is indicated to help reduce bioburden in infected wounds  .

Mepilex Ag adheres gently with Safetac^® – the original less-pain contact layer with silicone adhesion. So it minimises pain to the patient during removal        .
