French export ban for face masks lifted
Thanks to crucial efforts by the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and several other parties, the French government has today decided to lift the French export ban for the Mölnlycke face masks that up until now have been locked down in the company’s warehouse in Lyon, France.
’We are very grateful for the constructive dialogue between the Swedish and the French government that has helped resolve this situation, and we are very pleased to now be able to deliver the facemasks to healthcare professionals in Spain and Italy where they are greatly needed’, says Mölnlycke’s CEO, Richard Twomey.
